CONDITIONAL SENTENCE

Conditional sentence ialah complex sentence yang terdiri dari dependent clause yang diawali dengan subordinate conjunction ”if” berupa condition (syarat) dan independent clause berupa result/consequence (hasil) dari condition-nya. Penjelasan lebih lengkap dapat dilihat di pendahuluan conditional sentence.

Rumus Conditional Sentence Type 1

if + condition, result/consequence

if + simple present, (will + bare infinitive) /  imperative

      atau tanpa menggunakan koma:

result/consequence + if + condition

(will + bare infinitive) /  imperative + if + simple present

Contoh conditional Sentence type 1 :

1.       If You Have That Book, I Will Borrowing From You

2.       If That Book Sells, I Will buying

3.       If you come to my house this night, I will give you the cake

4.       If Tina not Come today, I will replacing Her

5.       If you tolerate today, I will give you an ice cream

6.       Will you bring that book if i come tonight

7.       Will Nana answering the question if I ask that question

8.       Will Your mother coming this day if My mother invite her to come to my home

9.       Will you eating this cake if I made it self

10.   Will you reading that magazine if I buy it

Rumus Conditional Sentence Type 2

if + condition, result/consequence

if + simple past, would/could/might + bare infinitive

      atau tanpa menggunakan koma:

result/consequence + if + condition

would/could/might + bare infinitive + if + simple past

Contoh conditional Sentence type 2 :

              1.      If you were here yesterday, I would gave that dress

              2.      If Indra booked first the table, I would with you tonight

              3.      If I had much time, I would take you around the city

              4.      If I were a boy, I would lift that chair alone

              5.      If it not came tomorrow, I would go it self

              6.      Would you came alone if I picked you first before

              7.      Could he saw this color if I blended it with the other colors

              8.      Could you wrote it self if I readed it clearly

              9.      Would you found it if I showed it first

            10.      Would you bought it if I selled it

Rumus Conditional Sentence Type 3

if + condition, result/consequence

if + past perfect, would/should/could/might have + past participle

      atau tanpa menggunakan koma:

result/consequence + if + condition

would/should/could/might have + past participle + if + past perfect

Contoh conditional Sentence type 3 :

1.       If you had finished the homework, I would have picked you at home

2.       If They were joined the classroom, I would have listened the lesson

3.       If Nurul had showed the problem, I would have solved the problem

4.       If I were listened the sign, I would have arrived to your office

5.       If I had cleaned the house, I would have watched the movie

6.       Should I have finished the job if you were collected the task

7.       Could You have bringed the gift if I had buyed at the shop

8.       Shoul you have fixed the dress first if you were buyed at the shop

9.       Would you have stayed all day if I had invited you to the wedding

10.   Would you have taked to the cinema if I had showed the free ticket
